6.Bapuji’s Mahasamadhi- Dec 29: Special two day week-end practice intensive last weekend in December (Dec 29-Jan 1, 2012)
SPECIAL 2 DAY WEEK-END PRACTICE INTENSIVE DETAILS
(Mahashivratri, Guru Purnima & Bapuji’s Mahasamadhi Celebrations)
•Those who have taken up Kripalu Yoga classes or attended a yoga and meditation session with us and who are interested in maintaining or intensifying their practice.
•Anyone who is interested in learning about the Kripalu Yoga Path.
Daily Schedule:
9am-Noon Morning Session
Kripalu yoga postures, movements, yogic jogging, breathing-pranayama, concentration/meditation, discussion
Noon-2pm Lunch Break
fruit/light vegetarian lunch, nap/rest
2-5pm Afternoon Session
Kripalu Meditation, videotapes, sharing and discussion
5-6pm Evening Break
6-8pm Evening Satsanga
chanting, meditation, sharing, Arati/prayer, followed by prasad (sweets)
8-9pm Vegetarian Dinner
Your voluntary donations to support our spiritual programs and services are welcome and would be most appreciated.

Note: One may plan to attend one or more sessions on both days. If anyone from out of town wishes to stay over Saturday night, please let us know. We have some limited accommodations available.
You and your family/friends are invited to join in the satsanga to celebrate ‘Diwali’ (the festival of light) and the Hindu New Year.
We will celebrate it on Sunday between 10:00 am - 2:00 pm here at Kripalu Yoga Foundation (see map).
The program will consist of:
Kripalu Yoga and Meditation: Stretching-movements, breathing-pranayama, postures, moving meditation (10:00 am - 11:00 am).
Meditation, keeping in silence, chanting, and/or listening to audio/video tapes of Bhajans & Dhuns (devotional songs) (11:00 am - 12:00 pm).
‘Garba’ and ‘Dandia Ras’ (spiritual dances) by men and women with clapping of hands and/or playing with wood sticks (12:00 pm - 1:00 pm).
‘Arati’, followed by prasad (sweets) and some vegetarian sattvic food
(1:00 pm - 2:00 pm).
If anyone desires to offer prasad, you may do so as per your choice. If anyone desires to bring a dish of Sattvic food for lunch service, you may please call us to coordinate for lunch menu.
